Prieto advised SMU S.A. on the sale of 19 supermarket stores, 3 distribution centers and the trademark Bigger to Network Retail society. The price of the transaction wasUS$ 6.5 million. Empresa portuaria Iquique

Prieto advised the state owned company Empresa Portuaria Iquique in the process conducted before the Competition Tribunal, in order to set the conditions under which the private concession of the exploitation of the Port Terminal N°1 of Iquique had to be granted by a public bidding process. Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation

Prieto y Cía. advises the US company Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (“DTCC”) in the sale of its participation of 10% in Depósito Central de Valores, (“DCV”) to the current shareholders of the DCV. The sale was executed in accordance to the exercise of a put option granted to the DTCC in the Investment Agreement executed by the parties on 2010.(2014)

Prieto y Cía. acted as legal counsel for Aguas Andinas S.A. in a 2 million unidades de fomento (UF) denominated bonds (approximately USD 85 million). The 23 year bond was placed in local markets  with the additional involvement of local investment bank BBVA Chile acting as placement agent. (2014)
