Senior Associate

Beatriz Bustos is a senior associate in Prieto’s Tax team.

Her work has focused on advising domestic and foreign clients on tax legal advice, business structures and corporate reorganizations.

She has developed her professional practice in a wide range of tax matters, from Family Office management to Customs and International Trade issues, including experience in export, import, and logistics. She is also involved in advising the Retail industry, as a member of the Tax Committee of a leading national company.

Beatriz also has a strong interest in the firm’s ESG practice, advising on issues such as tax sustainability, green taxes, and tax governance.

In 2024, she participated as a speaker at the Young IFA Network and was an assistant in the Legal Corporate Sustainability Program at Pontificia Universidad Católica in 2017.

She has been recognized in the Legal 500 ranking in the Tax practice area.

Prior to joining Prieto in 2022, Beatriz worked at the boutique law firm Pereira, Covarrubias & Montes Abogados between 2017 and 2022, and interned at the Ministry of Finance in 2012.
