EXPERIENCE
José Andrés Pascual has been a partner of Prieto since 2016. He joined the Firm in 2005.
Since his incorporation as partner, he leads the compliance area of Prieto, advising local and foreign clients on this matter. Likewise, since 2020 he heads the media and technology and sports and entertainment practices of the Firm.
Mr. Pascual also participates in mergers and acquisitions processes, in addition to advising on corporate matters. He also has experience in labor law and judicial matters, as well as in the negotiation, execution, interpretation and/or disputes in connection with fuel and grain supply and maritime transportation contracts.
He holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL. He worked as a foreign lawyer at Dechert LLP in New York (2010-2011).
Member of the Chilean Bar Association.
Member of the Corporate Governance and Compliance Committee of AmCham (Chilean American Chamber of Commerce) 2022 and 2023.
