

EXPERIENCE
Patricio Prieto is a founding partner of Prieto Abogados. He studied law at Universidad de Chile and journalism at the Universidad de Navarra (1958-1959) in Spain. In 1961, he founded and was a director of the School of Journalism of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile through the year 1965 and a Professor of Political Science at that School. From 1969 through 1977, he was a partner in the law firm of Claro y Cía. He founded Prieto Abogados in 1977.
He was a member of the Committee in charge of drafting Constitutional Organic Laws of Chile (1986-1989) . He is currently a member of the Entrepreneurial Advisory Board of the School of Business of the Universidad de Los Andes (ESE), is on the Arbitrators Roster of the National Arbitration Center and is a member of the International Bar Association.
Patricio Prieto has been distinguished for many years by Chambers and Partners as a Senior Statesman in Corporate and in M&A.
