EXPERIENCE

Rocío Yañez has been an Associate at Prieto since 2023 and is part of the Firm’s Compliance team.

She is also part of the Firm’s Media & Technology and Sports & Entertainment teams, advising a variety of clients of this areas.

She studied Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica, graduating in 2023 and obtaining a Certificate of Specialization in Criminal Law. During her time at the University, she served as an assistant for courses in Criminal Law, Communication Law, Constitutional Law, as well as a Seminar on Research and Jurisprudential Systematization of the Supreme Court.

Before joining Prieto, she worked as a Paralegal at Cortés and Rodríguez Abogados and completed an internship at the Research Department of the Supreme Court. Currently, she collaborates with the Journal of Criminal Sciences of Chile, published by the Institute of Criminal Sciences.
