Environment: LEGAL ALERT!

On October 2^nd, 2018, an abstract of a Draft Bill that establishes goals for the collection, recovery and other obligations related to the manufacturing of tires (under the framework of Law No. 20,920) was published in the Official Gazette. Please note that the first goal was set for 2021, determining a 50% collection and 25% recovery for tires with rims smaller than 57 inches, and a 25% collection and recovery of those with a rim greater than or equal to 57 inches.

This sets the beginning of a 30-day period for any interested person to send well-founded comments on the Draft Bill to the Ministry of Environment.
