José María Lagos is an associate specializing in Projects, Infrastructure, Energy and Mergers and Acquisitions.

His work has focused on providing strategic counsel to leading national and international players in the energy, mining, desalination and sanitation industries. He has primarily been involved in the preparation of private tenders, in projects tendered by the Coordinador Eléctrico Nacional, and in negotiations of construction, operation and maintenance contracts (EPC, BOOT, BOO, BoP, O&M, LTSA).

José María joined Prieto in 2022, having previously worked as an associate lawyer at Dnpv Abogados (2020 to 2022).
