ROCÍO YÁÑEZ S.
Associate
Rocío Yáñez is part of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions and Projects team.
She advises domestic and foreign clients on board management, corporate strategy development, and day-to-day operations. Her experience includes designing corporate structures, drafting complex contracts, and participating in M&A transactions, and restructuring processes at both the domestic and international levels.
She studied Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, graduating in 2023, where she obtained a specialization certificate in Criminal Law. During her time at the university, she served as a teaching assistant in the areas of Criminal Law, Communication Law, Constitutional Law, and the Seminar on Research and Systematization of Supreme Court Jurisprudence. She is currently a collaborator for the Chilean Criminal Sciences Journal of the Institute of Criminal Sciences.
Rocío Yañez has been an Associate at Prieto since 2023 and Coordinating lawyer of the Pro Bono Foundation since 2025.
