Tomás Landeta is a Senior Associate at Prieto and leads the firm’s real estate practice.
His practice focuses on providing legal counsel to major companies in the real estate and construction sectors. He has extensive experience in structuring and developing all types of real estate projects, including project financing, title due diligence, land acquisition, construction contracts, land use, subdivisions, zoning, building permits, condominium law, and housing subsidies, among others.
Additionally, Tomás’ expertise has led him to actively serve as in-house counsel in the execution of major infrastructure, energy, and concession projects, offering ongoing legal support to management and development teams within these industries.
In the academic field, he was an Instructor Professor in Civil Law at the University of the Andes from 2022 to 2023 and a Teacher Assistant in Natural Law and Philosophical Foundations of Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile from 2010 to 2012.
Tomás joined Prieto in 2025. Previously, he worked in the Real Estate and Construction and Corporate teams at Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego y Dörr Abogados (2016-2019), then in the Real Estate and Construction team at Fontaine y Compañía (2019-2022), and finally as Legal Counsel at Besalco S.A. and its subsidiaries (2023-2025).
