Valentina Flen is Director of the Labor and Immigration Law department at the firm.She advises national and international clients on labor and social security matters, both in individual and collective labor law, participating in various collective bargaining processes across industries such as retail, transportation, last-mile services, mining, among others.

Valentina actively participates in the judicial defense of various clients in labor-related matters, including investigation processes, complaint handling, and labor training. She also provides ongoing support in the daily operations of key Human Resources processes for several companies. She has contributed to developing workday systems that align with operational needs, advised on the implementation of the Family Reconciliation Law, and reviewed benefits policies to ensure they align with the social function of work and business guidelines.

She leads the Immigration team, offering comprehensive advisory services in hiring foreign employees and managing expatriate processes, including visa applications, work permits, contract reviews, and practical advice for the successful relocation of key executives to Chile, ensuring compliance with social security regulations.

Valentina has been recognized in international rankings such as Legal 500, where she was named a Rising Star in 2020, 2022, and 2024.

She has participated in seminars and training on topics such as the Karin Law, Fundamental Labor Rights, Economic Labor Crimes, and immigration law.

Valentina joined Prieto’s Labor team in 2016 and was appointed Director of the department in 2024.
