Associate

Carolina Soto is part of the Antitrust and Data Protection team.

She advises national and international clients in investigations related to unilateral conduct and cartels before the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office, as well as in merger notification procedures. Additionally, she represents clients before the Competition Tribunal in contentious and non-contentious proceedings, as well as in claims for damages arising from infringements of DL° 211, in complex and highly regulated industries. She provides compliance advisory services in Antitrust matters and participates in the preparation of specialized legal reports in various markets, such as payment methods, digital platforms, telecommunications, and energy.

In the field of Data Protection, Carolina has provided legal advice to companies on privacy and cybersecurity management, conducting risk and compliance assessments based on high international standards.. She has also developed Privacy Policies and drafted complex legal briefs on the regulation.

Carolina has been an associate at Prieto since 2022. Before joining, she worked as an in-house lawyer at Andes Iron, advising on Mining Property matters.
