JAVIER ALBORNOZ C.
Associate
Javier Albornoz is part of the Antitrust and Competition Law and Insolvency and Restructuring teams at the firm.
His experience has focused on both Competition Law and Bankruptcy Reorganization and Liquidation processes. In the area of Antitrust and Competition Law, he has concentrated his practice on investigations related to cartels, unilateral conducts, and merger control processes before the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office, as well as contentious and non-contentious proceedings before the Competition Defense Tribunal.
In Bankruptcy Law, he has experience advising clients from various industries on financial restructurings and liquidation processes, representing creditors in complex and high-profile cases.
From 2021 to 2023, he participated as a teaching assistant and coordinator of the Competition Law Program at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
He joined Prieto in 2022. Previously, he worked as an analyst at Deloitte, focusing on the Forensic and Compliance.
